Rev. Abner Abatayo

General Secretary — PGCAG National Executive Council

Rev. Abner A. Abatayo is the General Secretary of the Philippines General Council of the Assemblies of God (PGCAG) – recently elected to this national leadership post. Also serves as the National Director of Education for PGCAG/AOG Philippines, overseeing education and discipleship initiatives across the nation.
Frequently leads training and discipleship sessions under Redeemers Workmanship International Ministry, addressing crises of faith and church growth strategies. Previously served as a professor or trainer at Hope Leadership College, and is celebrated for his impact in both academic and ecclesial settings. Known for being a passionate and humble man of God, active in developing leadership and educational programs within the Assemblies of God framework.
Rev. Abatayo represents a blend of administrative leadership and theological training — serving as a key educator and strategic leader in God’s work within the Philippines’ AGP. His election as General Secretary underscores his growing influence in shaping church direction, training programs, and national governance.
